During lunch today I hear on the news OBAMA wants to check in on kids online!

"The Obama administration is ordering government schools to monitorstudents online and private conversations in order to discover "harassment.” If schools do not properly monitor students for ‘harassment' then the school can be sued and lose Federal money. FaceBook, a long time supporter of the administration, is apparently on board to ‘help' schools." I clipped this from Steven Birn speaks site after google search on the subject.

What the hell, last I checked governments of free countries do NOT monitor the private affairs of law abiding citizens. Of course i didn't think my country would try to cripple the entire oil industry either. I don't think I need help as a parent policing my kids time online at home. If this was just at school or on school time maybe the argument would be more palatable, Don't most schools ban cell phones and electronics during school? maybe I could see if it were creating problems at school during school hours. MAYBE but come on what the hell people, the rest of America needs to wake up before its to late, Its going to be a long two more years….
